Two Thumbs Up
Two Thumbs Up is more than new techniques. If you plan to do massage full time and expect income comparable to other professions, then you need to have fluid, creative, muscle-specific choices in your repertoire. You will stand out from the crowd and ensure that your body will not be hurt or injured. Receive insights into nurturing a full-time practice, alternative draping techniques, and thumb / wrist / forearm / body-saving techniques – all served up with enthusiasm and humor. You will be able to translate what you learn to your practice as soon as you get home.

Thai Massage
This workshop is an introduction to the traditional medical massage of Thailand. Students will be taught the basic philosophy of Thai massage. Included is training in how to position the client for treatment and the proper therapist body mechanics. You will learn how to perform a basic Thai massage and develop strategies for adapting the Thai approach to Western settings.

Seated Massage
This class will instruct the therapist to perform massage in a seated position, either in a professional massage chair, a conventional chair, or on the floor. Methods for organizing and performing on-site massage and massage demonstration-instruction for lay people will also be covered.

Kinetic Massage℠
This workshop demonstrates the use of passive range of motion combined with compression, digital pressure, muscle stripping, and compressive effleurage to treat the muscle fibers as they are being lengthened or shortened. Instruction includes draping techniques which allow full range of motion during the treatment.
